We took the kids to their first apple orchard. It was fantastic! We didn't even get to Apple picking because we were having so much fun in the playground and petting zoo and doing a hay ride. If it wasn't a million degrees I'm sure we would I have stayed longer.
Alex absolutely loved the tractors. It took him 0.2 seconds to spot one and he promptly ran over to it. He even got the guy to offer him to sit in the tractor seat (which any other kid would jump at but my shy guy went mute and hid behind daddy). Alex did agree to sit with daddy on the tractor and he thought that was great.
Kylie the animal lover was in heaven at the petting zoo. She literally walked up to every animal and shoved her head in its face and said her sweet "hello". The sheep returned the hi with a big kiss! She thought it was hilarious. She loved seeing the "horseys" (donkey), sheep, and "puppies" (goats)......were still working on all the animals haha!
The playground was a huge hit too, and very unique! A huge area to climb made out of tires, an old tractor turned into a playground, tires turned into swings shaped like animals and tractors, and tunnels galore!
Here are a few of my fav pics from the day:
