June 8

Today will always be a special day for me. One year ago today we did our embryo transfer. Little did we know we'd be lucky enough that both embryos would take and we'd have sweet Alex and Kylie! It's crazy how our world has changed in one year and that are two embryos turned into these sweethearts and our mini me's!

So thankful to have our twins, they make every shot, blood draw, and procedure we had to do 200% worth it! So cheers to June 8! 

4 months

I can not believe they are 4 months already (Ok well one week ago they turned 4 weeks....and I had this all written but needed to wait til today to get their heights and weights at their doctor appt)!! They are getting bigger by the day and SO interactive! 

Firsts:

Time using public changing table - 5/5 at Ruby Tuesdays. (Thanks Kylie!) Fun fact, not all mens restrooms have changing tables so mommy got this honor!

Alexander:
Weight:  13 pounds 10 ounces (11.3%)

Height:  24.5 inches (16.5%)

Diaper size: 1, moved to these on 5/11

Clothing size: 3 month

Feeds: Neutramigen formula. Taking 5 ounces every 4 hours during the day (9, 1, 5) and then goes 8 to 9 hours at night (YAY FOR US!) before needing to eat at 5 or 6 AM. He then goes back to bed till 9 if I am home otherwise I wake him for daycare!! Loves to smile after he eats.

Sleep: He goes to bed at 9:30 after having a diaper change and bottle and listening to lullabies. He can fall asleep without his pacifier now and he is not swaddled anymore. He usually wakes around 5 or 6 to eat and then goes back to bed easily until mom wakes him at 7:45 for Daycare or if its the weekend he'll sleep until 9 AMish. He sleeps by himself in his crib. He moves a ton at night, has rolled over in his sleep once. Loves sleeping with his arms free and above his head!  Naps are hit and miss. He takes a few cat naps at daycare and they say he will sleep in his crib for that!

Health: Still having Reflux and on Prevacid. No more colic. HORRIBLE diaper rash 5/21, it lasted nearly two weeks and required baking soda butt soaks two to three times a day, luckily he LOVED his butt soaks. 

Behavior: Such a smiley boy when he's happy.If you smile at him after he eats he'll coo and give a huge smile back. When he is awake he is very interested in his surroundings and takes everything in. LOVES to look at the lights. He is starting to grab.....moms hair....toys....sister....watch out if you are within his reach!

Play : He LOVES to look at a mobile still. He also likes his "lovie" blanket He likes to squeeze it and bring it up to his face.  He'll squeeze onto rings if you put them in his hand. He does tummy time daily and can support himself for awhile. He likes mirrors. Loves his pacifier. Not to sure of bumbo:

Weight: 12 pounds (7.3%)

Height: 23.5 inches (10%)

Diaper size: 1 as of 5/27!

Clothing size: 3 month, as of 5/25

Feeds: Gentlease formula. Taking 5 ounces every 4 hours during the day (9,1,5) and every 8-9 hours at night! She is a VERY clean eater and doesn't dribble much. She does tend to spit up some if you don't get a good burp. When you feed her Kylie likes to hold your finger or have both arms relaxed at her side. You have to wake her up for her first morning bottle, she loves her sleep!

Sleep: She goes to bed at 9:30 after having a diaper change and bottle and listening to lullabies. She does not get a pacifier at bedtime because if you give her one you will be back in the room all night putting it back in. She gets woken up at night to eat after her brother eats usually after 6 AM. So she goes a solid 9 hours! After this bottle she goes back to bed until mom wakes at 7:45 for Daycare OR if its a weekend we usually have to wake her between 9 and 10. The kid loves her sleep! She is a good sleeper and will sleep by herself in the crib. She LOVES to snuggle (prefers chest to chest). She is starting to take daytime naps at daycare in her crib.

Health: Still has Reflux and is on Prevacid.

Behavior: Found her smile and loves to smile when you look at her now. She does know what she wants and will cry until she gets it.

Play : Kylie LOVES the mobile. She will kick her legs and arms when it is going. Also likes being sang to. She will hold onto rings if you place them in her hand. Loves a pacifier. Loves her mirrors and will stare at them with a big open mouth. She likes watching you flick objects above her head, she is really starting to track things. Loves anything she can hang on to. Loves her "lovie" blanket that she can squeeze and pull to her face. Thinks its funny to pull her shirt over her head. Not a bumbo fan still

Lisa's Wedding

Last weekend my bestie got married! It was SUCH a fun weekend. The rehearsal dinner was at a great Greek restaurant. 
The wedding itself was at a gorgeous country club. We spent the afternoon in hair and make up and then had the wedding that night. Lisa looked absolutely gorgeous!!!!! Here are a few pics gettin ready:

Last day being 3 months

The kids last day being 3 months was 5/28! They were all smiles that day

Memorial weekend

We celebrated memorial weekend this weekend! I had a four day weekend and Ed had a three day weekend. I feel like we didn't do a ton but it went so fast! Saturday we cleaned, hit up target, took a two mile walk with Mav, and went out for dinner at Keys. Finished it up with delicious apple and cherry pie!!

Sunday we took another long walk after breakfast. Then came home and babies had some playtime until lunch.

Then after feeding the babies we went to the mall for the Carter's sale......the kiddos made out good! They are just so fun to shop for! After that we went to a BBQ at a friends. It was the kids first BBQ and they had a great time playing with the other babies!!

Monday we started the day with two extremely happy babies! I think the first hour they were up was just smiles and coos! I live for these mornings :)

After breakfast we went on a shorter one mile walk bc it was so hot! Then we stopped by the neighbors to hang out. After lunch aunt Lesley and uncle Nate came over to see the babies. Alex and Kylie enjoyed some snuggles and took naps on their aunt and uncle. It was a great end to a good weekend!!
